Life Support Education
Life Support Education is an organization that provides medical training. They had a dated, static website with a lot of brochure information, but no way for students to register for classes. Instructors needed a system to keep track of class schedules, manage alternating student rosters and accept online payments.
Branding, UI Design, Front-End Development
A course calendar was implemented, which allowed admins to effortlessly add classes daily. Students can view the calendars, pick a class, register and pay. I was also tasked with revamping the brand. I aimed for a modern collegiate logo design that would represent "medical" and "education". The base of my idea started with a book and a caduceus, the symbol of medicine. The caduceus originally features two snakes winding around a winged staff. The wings in this logo were instead represented by pages of a book, fanned out. The staff and snake displayed as a book mark in the center.
